The In Between Row setting is a very popular and unique feature of knitCompanion. It is available anytime there is a one-tap marker* and your chart only shows every other row (during setup be sure to set Increment to 2).
To enable In Between Rows in a project:
- From the app home page tap the Projects button
- Tap to open a project
- Tap the gear upper right to access that project’s preferences
- Turn on Show Between Rows (scroll if needed to bring option into view).
If you would like the Show Between Rows as your DEFAULT settings for all new projects, use System Preferences to set your Default Project settings.
Note: knitCompanion is smart and knows that charts with every row showing don’t have between rows (Increment is set to 1). And it works with odd and even row marker colors too.
*One-tap markers are the blue arrows you see to the right of the screen. Use Setup to add one-tap markers to any chart or written instructions. If you are knitting from a kCDesign one-tap markers are available with no setup required.
