Paid options and cost
knitCompanion is free to download from the App Store and use for all your projects with the kCBasics. The optional Setup+Essentials subscription is annual and starts with a 7 day free trial for new subscribers. Your App Store calculates price in your local currency and it may include added fees, vat, and taxes depending on local regulations. You can find your local price in the App Store listing as well as under Upgrade in the app. The App Store uses US $30/year as the base price for localization.
