You can select multiple projects or PDFs and take action on all of them at once. Actions include upload to Dropbox, Pack (for projects), and Delete. Tap Projects or PDFs. Tap the Multi-Select button. Select one or more files and tap the button for the desired action.
Packing a project removes all the temporary (cache) files associated with a project. This includes things like thumbnail images. Packing can fix issues and reduces the amount of space used on your device. When a project is shared or uploaded to a cloud, these temporary files are not included in the upload which saves you bandwidth and space. How to pack a project Tap Projects. Every page has two markers by default: a row marker and a stitch marker. They are available on every page (written or chart) when on the main knitting page. Row Marker: Slides up and down or advances with the one-tap. Your row marker will be either the sliding row marker or a one-tap marker. Stitch Marker: Slides side to side. Project Info provides project notes, a project timer, a ruler, calculators, and the option to link videos to your project. Tap Edit. Tap the Project Info button.
You can reset any of the built-in content included in the app (such as the sample projects). You may also need to reset the content after updating your device OS or if space runs low on your device. Tap Settings. Tap the RESET BUILT-IN CONTENT button.
If you are making a project or cropping a piece and the app closes, the PDF pages are blank, or text is missing/funny looking after you make a project, you have hit a snag with the PDF system. The most important thing is to make sure you are updated to the OS and knitCompanion.
